signs.

Jan. 15, 2008: I took these pictures of Lee on
Jan 10th as he was coming down Rt 611, 3
miles south of Easton, PA. We had the pleasure
of meeting him and talking with him about the
horses and his journey.  Lee said that he has
gotten rid of the small wagon as he feels that
the whole rig was too heavy and that he had
stuff he didn't need.  My cousin brought him hay
for the horses. The sign is now on the front of
the wagon.

Jan. 13, 2008: I'm sending four photos of
some of Lee's animals.  They were taken on
Sunday, January 13, 2008, behind Mueller's
General Store in Riegelsville, PA. I live two
miles from where Lee was camped.  He
mentioned wanting to see photos of this area,
and here is a web address:
www.durhamtownship.com. I'm a commercial
and editorial photographer. The photoblog is
a personal project I've worked on for the last
five years.  Thanks for your hard work on
Lee's site. It's very well-designed, organized
and informative.

Jan. 18, 2008: Visited with Lee today after he
spent the night on the parking lot  of a farmer's
market (Zern's) in Gilbertsville, PA and was able
to present him with a taste of home (his), two
bottles of Moose Drool beer which were part of
a cache we hauled home from an annual fishing
trip Gardiner, MT. Photos of wife Nancy and I. I
belong to a  group of anglers that have stayed
in Gardiner, MT for a week of two of fishing for
the last 21 years. Also have friends in Columbia
Falls, West Yellowstone, Gardiner, and
Choteau, MT.

Jan. 17, 2008: I saw Lee on Rt. 633 late
yesterday afternoon. I didn't know anything
about him and didn't know he'd be staying up
behind the Lamplighter Church last night. I was
out at about when I spotted him again today a
mile south of the church around noon. Then I
took a few pictures of him. What an inspiration
to know a bit of his story. I have family just
outside of Missoula, MT in the tiny town of
Alberton where my sister owns the largest used
bookstore in Montana, <http://www.montana
valleybookstore.com> and so it brought a sense
of my family when I saw Lee and his. I drive out
there each summer to visit for a couple of weeks
to do my passion of photography. I will think of,
remember, and most definitely pray for Lee on
his journey. He is truly a remarkable man.

Jan. 19, 2008:  I saw Lee today a block away
from the Rhoads Opera House Fire on
1/13/1908  Rt. 73 (Philadelphia Ave) Boyertown
Pa, hope he is having a great time, he looks like
he is having fun.

Jan. 12, 2008: Hello, I think what you are doing
is GRAND! I had occasion to "meet" Lee behind
Mueller's Country Store (this is where the
pictures are taken), which is on Route 611, just
south of Easton, PA in Riegelsville, PA. We are
right next to the Delaware Canal and Delaware
River here. Lee was very busy working with the
horses, as you can see, but over the weekend
he was here, he drew quite a crowd. We
enjoyed having him and his "crew" in town. A
local farmer came by with that little cart they
are both riding on so the horses could get out
for some exercise - at least that's what I heard!
It was all pretty cool. Hope Lee is doing well. My
camera card recorded the time and date of
January 12, 2008, around noon, for these
pictures. That was a Saturday. Keep up the
great site - it was very inspirational to read.
Thank you!

Jan. 22, 2008: We were so fortunate to be able to catch up with Lee on Jan. 22, in our home town
of Robesonia, PA.  These pictures were taken by my Husband, Ed, as Lee was passing Ozgoods
Restaurant on Rt. 422 West in Robesonia, heading on towards Lebanon County. He was good
enough to stop for me to hand him a couple of CDs for his collection.  What a great trip he must be
having.  He made our day, just seeing him and his "crew".  We pray for him and his animals to have
a safe trip ALL THE WAY!!  God bless you, Lee.

Dec. 20, 2007: Pictures taken of Lee
coming down 209 and arriving at his
stay-over place in Stone Ridge, NY at the
Marbletown Hardware Store. We took him
out to dinner and to pick up some supplies
at the pharmacy. We had a wonderful
conversation with him, gave him a donation
and bid him a safe trip!

Jan. 8 & 9, 2008: Photos were taken near Mt.
Bethel, PA on Jan 8th & 9th 2008.  He passed by
our shop the afternoon of the 8th and camped at
Riverside Lounge parking lot in Martins Creek
on Rt 611.  The weather was unusally warm in
the 60's on the 8th and very windy, but warm on
the 9th.  We sure enjoyed our visit with him and
will continue to follow him across the country.

Jan. 12, 2008: Riegelsville, PA: Pictures of Lee
at Riegelsville, PA today. My friend Greg had
brought his forecart over for Lee to use so he
could get the horses out to be exercised since
he is feeling poorly and has decided to stay in
the area a few days.  There was a lot of people
standing around waiting to see Lee and the
horses. He has a really nice spot to camp along
the Delaware river but we are supposed to be
getting a snow storm tomorrow night.

Jan. 11, 2008: A rainy,
dreary day but had the
pleasure of meeting Lee
at Mueller's Too
restaurant this morning in
Riegelsville, PA. Read
about his journey in the
Easton Express news last
evening and thought we
might have missed him.
Have passed info on to
other friends along the
way ... even to
Anchorage, AK. We wish
him well.

Jan. 11, 2008: Picture taken of
Lee on his journey south on Rt.
611 in a tiny village called Stone
Church. (South of Mount Bethel,
Pa.) We passed Lee three or
four times on our errands
around town - finally had to go
back for the camera!!
Lee would like to
express his gratitude to
the great people at
Walpack Inn for their
help and hospitality.
