July 20, 2007.  The P.D. was notified of his arrival at around noon and
he was watched over and escorted by Scott Mentzer.  Scott called me
and let me know that Lee had arrived in town.  I grabbed the camera
and headed down to Route 20.  I knew I was on their trail when I saw
the horse muffins on the side of the road. What a delightful and
friendly man Lee is. When he saw my Animal Control Van, he stopped
to tell me stories about other Animal Control Officers he had
encountered along the way.  Ye haw to Lee. Leona M. Pease, Animal

July 22, 2007: I got these pictures of Lee on
the Marboro/Sudbury line in Mass. Saturday
July 21, 2007 at about 2:00 pm.  My hubby and
I were coming home from Hudson when we
went by him.  I called our local Fox 25 news
station to tell them about what I saw-- I
thought they might like to come out and do a
story.  I guess I missed the one they aired
Friday night about him.  We turned around and
here are the pics that I got.  We noticed others
along the road waiting too when we went
back..  Way to go Lee!  I think my son is going
to Revere Sunday or Monday.  He wants to
shake Lee's hand!! Sheryl Sacchetti

July 23, 2007: Sent by Anne in Malden, MA: I've known Lee for over 25
years. It was amazing to see him arrive in the Boston area. When he
first started out on this journey, I never believed he could make it. He
stayed at the firehouse in Malden the night before arriving at Revere
Beach. Here's one photo of him riding through the streets of Malden.
There's a couple of him arriving at Revere Beach, America's first
public beach. He didn't actually go on the sand because of some
rules set by the Department of Recreation and Conservation (though
they are going to try their best to lift those rules when he begins his
journey again from Revere Beach in November. It was always his
desire to put the horses feet in the ocean.) Many of the Revere City
officials greeted him at his arrival, including Mayor Ambrosino, who
presented him with a Certificate of Achievement, and State
Representatives Robert DeLeo and Kathi-Anne Reinstein, who
awarded him an official citation from the Commonwealth of
Massachusetts.

I got to ride in the wagon from the Pavilion to nearby Kelly's Roast
Beef, the famous restaurant located on the shore of Revere Beach.
Lee and members of his entourage were treated to a delicious meal.
Revere city officials asked if Lee would like to ride in their Columbus
Day Parade! A warm welcome and a crowd of cheering supporters
were on hand to greet him at the beach. What an amazing journey!
August 6, 2007: Brimfield, MA: Lee asked me
to send these pictures to you.  He knew you
would love the second one, which he thinks
should be titled "Three Guilty Faces".  It was
taken at Revere Beach when he "landed"
there.  The little girl is my daughter, Rosa.

August 9, 2007: Brimfield, MA: Lee has been working on his new
wagon here in Brimfield, MA. Yesterday he hooked the team up to
the new wagon for its test drive. He says the top will go on it next
week. It was a wonderful, once in a lifetime experience going for a
ride on the new wagon with Lee.  The new wagon has brakes, as
you can see in the lower right photo.

August 18, 2007: I had seen Lee on his way to Boston, but didn't
have the chance to catch up with him. I was fortunate enough to
run into him on his way out of town. We slowed down on a major
busy Route 20 in Marlborough MA and asked him "Do you have any
shirts?," and he was kind enough to tell us where he was staying,
so we could ketch up with him later. Here are the shots I took
when I interrupted his dinner at the Marlborough MA fire station on
Route 85 (at around 7:00pm on 8-18-2007).  Good Luck and you
deserve a much needed break. Wendi , Sudbury MA

August 18, 2007: Sudbury, MA: We passed Lee
on our way to dinner at the Wayside Inn in
Sudbury, MA on Saturday August 18. Shortly
thereafter, he passed the Wayside Inn and I
was able to snap these photos. Marilyn Hill,
Brockton, MA.
August 28, 2007: Here are some pictures of your
new sign that Desiree thought of and Ray and
Shauna from Wales, MA constructed.  Have a safe
rest of your journey and good luck.
